You were never meant to do this alone
Postpartum doula support during the fourth trimester in Gold Coast and Northern NSW. You can rest, recover, and feel held while you learn more about your baby.
A gentle place to land after birth
The world changes after a baby arrives. Days stretch. Nights feel endless. Your body needs healing.
You love your baby deeply but you might feel overwhelmed, unsure, or struggling more than you expected.
Postpartum can feel quite lonely, especially when everyone assumes you should be fine once the baby arrives.
You’re not doing anything wrong.
This journey is intense, and you don’t have to do it alone.
What’s the role of a Postpartum Doula?
A postpartum doula is there to care for you, so you can care for your baby.
We offer calm, non-judgmental support in your home during the early weeks and months after birth. Our role is to meet you where you are.
Postpartum doula support looks different for everyone and it may include:
Emotional support and reassurance as you adjust to parenthood
Newborn care guidance
Feeding support, without pressure
Light household help (tidying, laundry, changing sheets)
Preparing meals and snacks
Holding or caring for your baby so you can sleep or shower
Sibling support (playing, reading books, doing an activity with them…)
Light relaxing massages
Space to talk, process, and ask questions without feeling rushed or judged
There is no rush.
No fixing.
No pressure to bounce back.
Just steady care, warm presence, and support shaped around you.
Your Postpartum Doulas
We are Paloma and Mia.
We became postpartum doulas because we believe the postpartum period deserves as much care and attention as pregnancy and birth, if not more.
We approach our work with warmth, presence, and respect for each family’s unique journey.
Our goal is simple: to help you feel supported, capable, and less alone during your postpartum.

What people are saying
‘Paloma Mia Doula services became our village and family when my daughter was born. I had a very rough birth and entrance to motherhood. With their help and support I felt heard, confident and rested. They supported me emotionally during the hardest time of my life, recovering from a c-sec, having difficulty breastfeeding and during the tough days of sleep deprivation and with a very fussy and unsettled baby. They managed to provide my family ( myself and my partner) a hand, they held us as family while we were adjusting to big changes. They also held my baby so I could sleep and rest, they cooked delicious meals, and breastfeeding cookies, they supported me during uncertainty and the emotional rollercoaster of postpartum. They are now my friends and my family. I strongly recommend their services for yourself and family.’
With love and care Maria & Cale.
